An open day was held in ‘Kurana’ for the residents of the Pasvalis community. During the meeting, the company’s activities, biofuel production processes, investments in new production capacities and the value created by ‘Kurana’ for the region of Pasvalis and the whole of Lithuania were presented to the visitors.

When the members of the community arrived, they had the opportunity to see more closely how the modern renewable fuel production company works, to get acquainted with the technological processes, the raw materials used and their influence on the final product. During the tour, the products produced by the company, their use in the market and the importance of biofuels in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels were also presented.

This open-door day was distinguished by the particularly active involvement of the community – visitors asked many questions, actively interested in the production process, production quantities, raw materials, biofuel market, employee well-being, work safety and the company’s role in the region.

During the meeting, a lot of attention was also paid to the company’s investments in new production capacities. ‘Kurana’ consistently modernizes operations, implements more advanced technological solutions and expands production possibilities in order to contribute to the development of renewable energy, the circular economy and the economic viability of the region.

The company also presented the importance of its activities for the local community – from job creation and cooperation with regional partners to contribution to the local economy and strengthening the Lithuanian biofuel sector.
