- “Kurana” is the only bioethanol factory in the Baltic States.
- Factory The first in the EU combined the technological processes of bioethanol for renewable fuels and biogas production into one uninterrupted technological chain.
- “Kurana” produces biogas, which it sells to Tube Green to refine the natural gas quality product – biomethane. The Tube Green factory produces 100,000 units per year. MWh biomethane.
- The company operates on the principle of a circular economy, there is no production waste left in its technological chain, and instead, valuable organic fertilizers are obtained, which are increasingly used in agriculture.
- All manufactured products are environmentally friendly. All non-food grains used in production are purchased from Lithuanian farmers, as well as waste for the production of advanced renewable fuels.
- By applying the LEAN methodology, the company optimizes costs and involving employees makes it easy for itself to work environment.

Laboratory and quality assurance
The factory’s laboratory is equipped with all the latest equipment and has the ability to control all stages of production, from the reception of the first grain to the final products.
- The laboratory is certified for research on the quality and chemical indicators of ethyl alcohol according to the LST EN 15376 standard.
- Research is carried out in the laboratory and the stability of production processes is assessed.
- New raw materials are studied and the possibilities of their use in production are evaluated.
- Experiments are carried out with production units.
Quality certificates are issued in the laboratory for each factory-made product.
Experienced top-level specialists ensure that the laboratory is one of the main and most efficient divisions of the factory, which ensures perfect quality of raw materials and manufactured products.
